Sunnis and Shiites

A very complex subject which I want to make a simple way.

The Sunnis are the largest group in Islam and are found in all Arab countries and around the world. They follow a “caliph” system.
So they have each a caliph as the religious head.

The second largest group are the Shiites, with many sub-groupings. Accept the most extreme, ie those who only the Koran and Sharia law can be found in the “theocracy of Iran” with the “Ajatholla” as a religious leader and spiritual leader.

However, there are many subgroups and “offshoots” of Shiites in Iraq, Azerbaijan, Oman and Lebanon.

When the Shiites constitute the “Ishmaelites” the next larger grouping.
This probably reject the “Sharia” law from an undisputable. However, they follow usually the five times daily prayers and fasting during the “Ramadan”.

They acknowledge the king of Morocco, which is a direct descendant of Ali, son of Muhammad, should be, as a “spiritual leader”.

There are nearly 20 million Ismaili Muslims who are found mainly in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Oman, Bahrain, Turkey and also in some African countries and around the world.

Sharia law represents the “Religious Law” in Islam and is based solely on a “controversial and not mentioned in more detail reference” in the Koran.

Was because of the “Ur-Koran” burned Mohammed after his death by a caliph and of this rewrite is evident that, referred to the socio-political “laws”, as God’s Word, and other related laws (jurisdiction and refer to the Shariah) ) has been introduced to facilitate the governance of the caliph.
